Seafood Employment Specialists: Our Seafood Specialists work closely with seafood employers and other organizations to assist in providing a ready and adequate labor pool for employers in the seafood industry in Alaska. Seafood Specialists actively network and communicate recruitment and training efforts with seafood employers in their community. The Anchorage Seafood Employment Office Supervisor Salvador "Sal" Solis is located at the Anchorage Job Center Midtown, at the crossroads of Alaska for movement of seafood processors to and from Bristol Bay, the Kenai Peninsula, Cordova, Valdez, the Aleutian Islands and other areas of Alaska. Anchorage Seafood Employment Office staff are a central resource for information on upcoming recruitments and to help provide the large numbers of quality, screened applicants for seafood employers.
